Default New to forum and HP. Need advice.

Hello,

Im new to this forum and HP. I've shot my 995 once and love it. I do need to find good HD/PD ammo for it though. I bought some Winchester hollow points (white box) and the 995 jamed with those. FMJs feed great, just not the PD ammo. Any suggestions?

Kind regards

Try a quality JHP. The WWB doesn't have the best quality control and lengths can very widely. In 9mm I shoot Winchester PDX1 bonded for HD use.

I've had good results with the BVAC 124gr hp's. You can get them for under $15 per 50.

The Gold Dots work good too.

Since part of the discussion is on PD ammo, how good is Cor-Bon compared to Winchester PDX1?

from North Idaho.

I've had good luck with remington-UMC 115 gr JHP's, both factory and some reloads I cooked up using that same bullet. Never had a failure to feed with any of them.
