German Walther P1s. I guess they've been put on the C&R list.

 Nice find! Handguns seem to be non existant as far as surplus with the exception being the cz82? Nice to see a better option!

I saw those Walther P1s on Aim this morning. Was kinda, sorta interested. I just bought one last month at LGS. It was in mint condition. Only concern I had was this one was made in 1966 before they started putting in the hex cross pin for reinforcement. Only found out after the purchase that there can be some concern about the alloy frame cracking. The ones in the Aim ad appeared to have the pin. Do not know if the picture they were using is accurate or not. You often see disclaimers saying that the picture is just representative of the item and may not be exact. However, have talked to couple of gun smiths and they say that if you go with normal pressure 115 gr ammo the one I have will be fine. Not sure I could convince my wife it would be good to have a second one with the pin.

That is one nice looking handgun. I really really really want one! Unfortunately, I would like to keep my wife too.
