Alright, but can you tell us your reasons why specifically? You don't gotta, but I am curious.
If you do choose to tell me, please forego with the "ABO" argument; I can teach a kindergartener that.

+1 The establishment works because we're convinced it does and we don't try to change it.

Yes sir as long as we keep voting for the lesser of two evils we will always have evil. Everyone just needs to vote for who they think is best not who they think will win. Voting for a POS winner is not better than voting for the loser. You still end up with a POS.

+100000000000000000

We have a winner!

*Soap Box*
Its a cliche, we have the best government we deserve. The problem is, people insist on voting for losers rather than winners, for no other reason they want to vote for the "winner" rather than who will actually best serve this country - and by extension, us.

When you look around and say, "crap this government sucks", more often than not, people can look in a mirror and see the primary problem. They're just too egocentric to admit they carry a burden of guilt.

The battle cry of, "voting for x is a vote for y", is always the cry of the most guilty amongst us. Not to mention its a complete buy into the propaganda spewed forth by the entrenched parties.

If not this election to vote properly, when? And that's the problem. Don't be a tool and continue suckle on the propaganda.

If the runner up wins and you're still dissatisfied, you are the problem. Period. There's no escaping it. Hiding behind the logic of, "at least I didn't vote for the imaginary holocaust monster [incumbent]", is not defense to the fact you voted to throw away your vote, undermine this country, and vote against yourselves and everyone else.

Don't throw your vote away. Don't be a tool. Vote your heart, not your fears. That's the only way the system will work. Until you do your part, the reason the system is broken, is you.

I could not vote for Ron Paul as I enjoy the thought of some natl Security, but man, I must say I am considering writing him in if I have to just to make a point. I don't want either of these guys in. I love Ron Paul on everything except his foreign policy, is the only guy up there with common sense.

Yes, that's why more troops support him than any other candidate and he is the only veteran in the race. He believes in a strong national defense. DEFENSE. Warmongering is not defense. Defense is keeping our guys here, at home, letting the intel agencies do their jobs to assess threats overseas, and defending ourselves here at home. The whole, "take the fight over there," is a fallacy fed to people by career politicians to make nation-building and empire-building seem more palatable.
His foreign policy is perfect, unless you don't believe in the golden rule. Stay out of other people's business; they are sovereign nations, what business do we have meddling in their affairs? I guarantee if, say, France, came over here and said, "We don't like how you;re doing things, so we're going to change them to benefit us," you'd be pretty ticked, wouldn't you? You'd hoist the flag, grab your gun, and yell "God Bless America!" before mowing down some Frenchies.
Calling Ron Paul's foreign policy crazy is like calling your neighbor crazy because he doesn't jump over your fence and throw rocks through your windows.

I have heard people say this many many times. Yet not once has anyone pointed out one of his actual policies that they dont agree with. Unless you are for occupying other countries, I am not.
