Good job, indeed! If we had more real men (and women) like that, who aren't afraid to to take action, thugs like these, and terrorists would give a bit more thought to the crap they're planning to do. I can't figure out if the guy was 71 or 63; seems to be a bit of confusion; but the important thing is that he took action!

Ahh, but didn't he pursue them? Once they turned and ran shouldn't he have stopped as he was no longer in danger??? Looks like he chased them and shot them down, maybe in the back? No charges? In that state?

Living in the Peoples Republic of Oregon where this happened, I'm sure that if there is a way to charge that old man, the authorities will.

He didn't chase those crooks beyond the door, which he locked after them. Neither of them dropped their weapon or gave up. I wish that he had killed them though.

I could be wrong, but one's best chance is to kill anyone you shoot at. If you don't kill them, the lawyers will jump in and start doing what they do best, suing people. It's harder for them to build and prove a case when the perpetrators are dead and can't be prompted, or even testify in court.

hell yeah! go old man. that would be so much bull if they prosecuted that dude. our country is so screwed up. they protect criminals. if u got the balls to try to rob a bunch of people. there oughtta be no way in hell that the man that shot u for attempting a violent crime should be prosecuted. he defended his life and the lives of many others.
