Default Moving to CO.

I will be moving to CO. in two weeks and I was wondering if anybody had any good links or tips on getting a carry permit in Colorado, and any other pertinent laws pertaining to firearms. I am looking forward to the move and excited about being able to hunt in CO, but a little unsure about the regulations. any words of wisdom ?

it says you need proof of firearms training in the past 10 years, so what kind of training is needed? and where can such training be received? in Indiana we are not required to have training.

usually a dedicated CCW class. they run about $100 around here. i'm sure if you have a certificate from a similar class from out of state that would work too.

what part of CO are you moving to? you gonna join us on may 15th for the CO meet and shoot?

I have never taken a CCW class since it is not required in Indiana so I will have to look into that.

I'm moving to Castle Rock, and I would gladly meet up with you guys except that is the week I am moving and am not sure I will be able to get free. Hopefully I will be able to make the next one.

castle rock is nice. you'll have to scope out places in that area to shoot. i'm sure there are places both east and west of there, i've just never talked to anyone who knows.

Do you have to worry about what counties your license is valid in?

I was asking about Colorado. I could have sworn I read somewhere here on the Forums that it varies by county.
