Where is the best place to conceal carry
I am wondering if anyone could tell me where is a comfortable place to conceal carry on their body? The reason I ask is because I cannot find a good comfortable place around my belt to carry. I have tried the small of my back but then when you sit down its not comfortable. Also It might be the holster I am using. What holsters do you guys recommend for cc? Also where is a good place to buy a shoulder rig? Thanks in advance for all the feedback

What are you carrying and what holster are you using?
I CC my C9 in an Uncle Mike's IWB holster. http://www.unclemikes.com/products/inside_the_pant_holsters.html
Now I'm 6'2 and about 160. I carry about 4 o'clock. Just behind my hip bone. Honestly, I pretty much have no butt so it just kinda tucks right in there. NO printing at all. If I get it in just the right sopt, even sitting down, I don't even know it's there.
But again, it works for my build, might not work for you.

When one decides to conceal-carry they need to answer four questions:
1: What type of gun are they carrying?
2: From who are they hiding the gun?
3: What type of clothing is worn?
4: Into what threat is the gun carried?
In the summer, I usually left-shoulder-carry the HP22.
In the fall, I usually right-hip-carry the 9mm C9 with a light shirt or jacket.
In the winter, I usually right-hip-carry the .45 JHP with a heavy coat.
I am hiding the gun from the scared and freaky eyes of the public.
I carry all my guns in a Bulldog holster with extra magazine.
If I go to the neighborhood store, I carry light.
If I go to a location across town, I carry medium.
If I go to the big city, I carry heavy.
If I am at home, all my guns are locked, loaded, and ready.

I carry a PX4 in a SERPA holster at 3 O' clock and have never had any issues. I have thought about a shoulder harness made for the SERPA but I am to cheap to pay 50 bucks for 5 dollars worth of nylon belt and 3 dollars worth of plastic.

I carry an SA XD9sc in a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB at 3:30. Comfortable, even more so that I'm 90 lbs lighter, and I've never been "made" that I know of. Sometimes I carry my Judge in a Quest IWB at the same position and, believe it or not, that's even more concealed. It sits way down in and all that is over the belt it the grip. That one is not tuckable, however.

an ankle holster is an option too...but hard to get to it if your not already sitting down

I just went on crossbreeds website. I looked at the iwb supertuck. My question is where is it most comfortable? It doesn't look very comfortable at all. Do you wear it in the small of your back? I know thats probably a stupid question but I am new to guns and concealed carry!

It rides very comfortable right on the love handle area. Like I said in my post above "3:30", as if you drew a clock around your waist with 12:00 being at the belt buckle.

Not a stupid question at all. Don't ask, don't learn, right? I can't tolerate small of the back so I usually carry at either 2:00 or 3:30 for IWB or 3:00 to 3:30 in a Serpa OWB. Depends on the weapon and what I'm wearing. Gotta figure out what works for you.

I have found OWB is the most comfortable for me and a lot of times that means open carry which is completely legal here in Indiana with your LTCH. Now for IWB conceal carry I have found that between 3-4 o'clock is the best I can find. Spend the money on a good holster and belt and you'll thank me later. Something like a Desantis tuckable, Crossbreed supertuck, and there are many others out there. The best way to find something that you like is to simply try until you find what YOU like. Guns hows usually have a lot and you can try them out before buying. The INDY 1500 is coming up in a couple weeks that would be a great place to check some out and find what you want. www.indy1500.com
