Hey all. I've been seeing a number of Haskell JS-45s for sale lately and I'm considering getting one because of their usually low price. Just wondering though, is the reliability of these on par with the modern polymer framed pistols? Any idea if these would be covered by the same warranty as other Hi-points? And is it just me or do those pistols look like some very plain combination of a USP and a Tokarev?

Those are early hipoints arent they? I remember the name, but cant picture the pistol.

From what I've heard, they were made before Haskell merged to form Hi-point, but I don't know how much of that is true.

Sweet looking gun. Doesnt have the cheese grater on the mag either. Im gonna say they probably would honor the warranty. AFAIK, they do with Stellar arms.

If it has the HP name on it and has the serial# intact yes they will warranty them. I traded with primal several months ago with a alloy framed 40 and they completely rebuilt it.

You need to call them about the ones with the haskel name on it.
