Default LRHO

Any thoughts on removing the LRHO mechanism. Mine is jamming the bolt in the open position at the end of each mag. Very hard to free up after that. I would rather not have the feature than have the gun jam, especially in a crucial situation. Anyone else had this issue and how did you address it??
Thanks,
Dana

Send back to HP.... it's under warranty. You usually get your shipping charges back in the form of a free magazine. No need for a FFL transfer either way, commercial shipping OK... Some folks on this site have recommended one carrier over another and not declaring the gun as a firearm, but otherwise, e.g. machine parts.

Theres a couple things that I would look at, the spring for the LRHO lever, and the notch where the lever goes into to lock the bolt back. If the spring is off/broken then the lever won't drop back down as it should when the empty mag is removed. The LRHO lever can create a burr on the bolt/slide where it engages that makes it difficult for it to drop down as well.

I gotta go with the herd here...if you can't easily fix it yourself, call mom, and ship it back. The thing should work, it works fine for LOTS of people, there is no reason to lose part of the functionality of the gun. Especially as they WILL fix it , essentially for the price of a new mag.
