My baby.....
Finally got it. It's a never been fired 1903-a3.
Actually don't know if I want to take it to the range, or just keep it the way it is.

Hm...if you put one test-round through it. And then put it on a wall hanger. Technically all you did was "test-fire" right? That way when Judgement Day and Trumpets sound you can be prepared with your 1903-a3 ready to go!

if you bought the gun as a collector who wants to preserve history and keep the value up, then don't fire it.
if you bought it because its awesome and rare and you wanted to make it your own, then fire the hell out of it.

I never sell anything, right....
And I didn't get it just for a paper weight, I got it so I'd have the experience of firing it....
So as long as I keep it clean, and well maintained, it should last me.

I'd say shoot it. I look at it this way though, I hate trailer queen cars. If I get my hands on anything, I'll drive it. And you dang well better believe if I get in the driver seat of a 426 hemi 'Cuda, Ima melt the tires off of it!
