Wondering if it would work in a 460 Rowland Load, or 45 Super

Yes.
I know it "fits"

I think I have seen 255gr, but also wondering about bullets say up to 300gr. What's the upper limits for a Super or Rowland, Backy?
I'm too lazy to "google it", b****

No idea, I'd have to ask my brother. I know .450" Bushmaster, which uses .451" bullets, runs out of availability up around 300 grns. Why he choose .458" SOCOM.

My son want to build a .458 SOCOM
He had one, sold it when he was between jobs. Got more than he paid, but kinda regrets selling it! He want to build the SOCOM or a .50 Beowulf
