Default AR Co-Witness With Reflex

I was wanting to co-witness between my A2 front and MBUS rear sight with a cheapo Red Dot/Green Dot reflex sight. What bolt on piece can I get to raise up the reflex to line up?

Either of theses will work for your reflex sight! Just depends on how much you need to raise it! The risers are available in many different heights! I have a few different ones!

JC you have to give me the exact height! Whattzamadda with you? I am lazy! I see myself not moving forward with this for a little while. I need to do this on my 15-22, and a AR15.

Thanks for the links! I like the quick release

LOL....

If it is a regular reflex sight with no riser at all then you would be looking at either a 3/4 in or 1 in riser....

Here is the sight I got. On the 15-22 is MBUS front and rear. The AR's are the A2 front and MBUS rear.

I'm going to say you will need a 3/4" riser... If it doesn't absolute co-witnrss it will at least top 1/3 co-witness...

I bought a flip up sight and an el cheapo red dot off amazon for my 4095ts. I put them on my ar when i got it and they cowitnessed with the a2 sight post perfectly. Now i was intending to switch them out with some better quality stuff in the future until i dropped the gun. The sling i was using failed and the rifle hit some concrete steps and slid all the way to the bottom. Upon inspecting the rifle and shooting it, the sights were just fine and completely held zero.

Just slap it on there, Trashy-B!
I've never needed a riser for those reflex sights. Better to have 1/3 Co-Witness anyway, as you can just use the flip-ups if the rds fails.
It's a pain to have "absolute" with an A2 sight, but you can move your
cheek weld UP and use just the dot. I'd tend to want to run the rds on a
45* mount with an A2 front post.
