Although I was mistaken, the magazine was not ejected, the base plate and spring flew out. When I looked at the bottom I didn't notice that the dark shell of a mag was left. So I ejected it later....

I made this. It was pretty easy, just destroy the bottom of a mag, bend feed lips around the upper mag, bent the upper mags spring to contour the bottom...

Just verified the trigger pull was greater than 3 lbs but less than 4 lbs. Also there doesn't seem to be ANY trigger travel after you apply pressure. It is like a 3.75 lbs mouse click.
