I would call Hi Point immediately, get a new free 995 stock, firing pin, firing pin springs, and maybe some extra mags. While you at it have them send you new iron sights, just in case you need them...

Its not a slap at all really, its the friction...
Its not a slap at all really, its the friction from the plastic going across your cheek as the stock moves during recoil. Causes a very minimal sensation, hardly what id call a slap.
