    Its not a slap at all really, its the friction from the plastic going across your cheek as the
    stock moves during recoil. Causes a very minimal sensation, hardly what id call a slap.

    I might get the Chinese Type 53 and just re-finish the stock myself, maybe even re-blue it not
    sure yet. It would be nice to have something else besides 12 gauge or 9mm for long distances.
