Seems that Old Man SOOTCH likes the D60 drum from MagPul, but I've seen lots of complaints about "takes too long to load" and some about jamming... If it's MagPul, it's gotta be great, right?;):D

I tried loading one of these back in NC. They are a b!tch to load to capacity. Like he said, "once ya get the hang of it" I guess. Very strong springs in them. That front lever is awkward as hell. Went thru 60 rnds fast as I could pull the trigger flawlessly though. For the price ya can't beat it. Sure as hell beats those "Chicago Typewriter" drums.;)

If I need to load out heavy I use Surefire 60 round magazines. The Surefire fits into a standard double magazine pocket on a vest so loading out with them is easy.

    A bit cheaper, also!
Are the 100's worth a darn, Flash?

    No.
The 100's have issues. The 60 round magazines work flawlessly though. I have never had any issues with the 60's in either semi or full auto mode.
They are also metal and not plastic.

Wish they made that in about a 45 round capacity about the same length as a standard 30.

Thanks, I saw 2 websites selling the 100's that had "rave reviews"
    4.5 and 4.8 "star" average ratings, on a 5 scale :p

Looks like FLASH did his homework...

(all loaded to capacity with M193)
The D60 drum, empty weighs over 2.5 times the empty Surefire 60, which also costs less ;)

Think he's talking about the 50 round KCI Glock drums.

Sootch runs a good channel, but I don't think the guy has ever met a product he didn't like.

I have had MAGPUL GLOCK magazines fail to feed on me more than once. Their rifle magazines have been awesome.

    I'd LOVE a 10mm Glock or 1911 drum... but not 10rds

I noticed that... ;) Glad he gave a big [IMG] to my MWG 90rd "Snail Drum", still need to shoot that!

Not familiar w/ the Korean 50 round drums. Know about the aluminum X-Products. http://www.xproducts.com/

The Korean twin-drum 100 round is a copy of the BetaMag, and there's a 150 round twin drum out there as well.

Great Price, same maker as my 45ACP drums, it seems.

Yea, why are they less than the Glock 40 and 1911?

    Supply and demand??
