I finally caught a big Lake Trout

    Well im an avid fisherman and mainly jig for deep water lake trout. My goal for the last 2years was 10lbs. Well yesterday I finally after 2 years hit the mark

    Next year Ill try to hit 15lbs

    It was out of the water long enough to unhook it and take a pic. I dont keep big fish to eat.

    I can think of MANY things I'd rather do with $150.00 than put a fish on the wall....

    I have to agree with Z71 on this one... Deep sea fishing is much more exciting than freshwater.... EXCEPT for largemouth bass.... Yep.. I'll post some pictures of some Bass I've caught... I think my wife scanned the pics tonight...

    Deep sea is great unless your fighting snapper all day instead of the shark/swords etc.

    I love pulling 36" Bull-Reds & 'baby' black tip out of the surf. Most kids dont wanna go back in the water once youve caught and released 'Jaws' though.

    I usually stick to fishing the coastal flats for Red & Drum though

    Striper Fishing is some serious fun, my best fish was 41 pounds.

    I tried to get into deep sea fishing but I could find anywhere to fish in Colorado :) :)
