The intrepid gun guys over at S&I Arsenal, the gents who specialize on "blue collar gun reviews," laid their hands on a brand spanking new, fresh from the factory Hi Point 4095TS. What they find out about it proves very interesting.
Following in the path blazed by the classic Hi Point 995 series pistol caliber carbine back in 1996, the 4095, as its name would imply is a semi-auto carbine sized rifle chambered in .40S&W. As forum members know, the 4095 has gone from its classic "Planet of the Apes" original styling some two decades ago to a more fresh and fit version typified by the TS series.
These new rifles, slathered in Picatinny rails, still come with Mom's traditional no-questions warranty and sight arrangement, while improving the fit, finish, and ergonomics of the rifle without adding to the bottom line. For generations, they have proved the perfect little carbine for home defense, target practice, medium-game hunting, and all-around general-purpose use.
Which probably led to why a group in New Mexico wanted to get their hands on one.

Just posted in the past few days, the guys over at S&I Arsenal took an in-depth look at a loaner 4095TS sent over by MKS for testing. For those of you not yet in the know, S&I is a gun reviewing group based in Albuquerque, NM who love to look at affordable guns. Guns for the everyman. They aren't R&D'ing some unobtainium from HK or Steyr that won't be on the market for another five years anyway, they are running and gunning real guns, that are available and within reach of the average American. Hence, they run "blue collar gun reviews."
According to the guys, "We finally reviewed the last Hi-Point carbine, the 4095TS. It was a lot of fun to shoot and the production was fun as well. We shot 2 different types of ammo, had two different shooters, and used multiple types of targets."
And without further, let us roll that beautiful bean footage:

And when you are done with that, check out their review of the 4595 earlier this summer:
