I'm not an expert on these -- I was given this by a friend who didn't want to deal with an old rusty rifle. I've disassembled it, started cleaning it up, and have put it on a back burner as the barrel is unsalvageable.

That said, I've seen several since I posted the pictures, including one at Cabelas here in Lacey, WA. The price seems to fall in the $150-$200 range, though if yours is really nice it might well be more.

While I can't promise a lot of information, I'll try to find out more if you send pictures. It sounds like yours is in a lot better shape than mine.

Back in February 2010 you posted pictures of a 6.5 that you had received. I was wondering if you have found any information on this gun. I have one that looks identical. It is in decent shape with no rust but some scratches on the wood. It is stamped Hemburg 1918 beside the bolt. I can send pictures if you would like. We just can't seem to find any information on the gun. Your picture is the only that we have found that is identical to our gun. My father recently passed and my mother would like to find a value for it. Thanks.
