An Ohio man threatened to kill his wife and carry out mass shootings at a church and a Las Vegas casino that would "go down in history," the FBI said Thursday after allegedly uncovering a series of text messages.
I've noticed lately that Ohio is in the news a lot is seems for weapons crimes. What the hell is Going on in Ohio Kirk???
It's Ohio. That should explain it. Probably linked to the weather which isn't necessarily linked to the seasons. Don't like the weather? Wait around a few days, it'll change. Makes people both crazy and stoopid.
You think this guy is an idiot? Come on over and watch what happens to drivers after the first snow of the season. It's as if they've never seen this white stuff falling from the sky. Some of them drive as if it's not falling and couldn't possibly affect the roads at all. Some of them drive as if their tires are bald, the roads are coated with oil, and every speed limit has been reposted at 4 MPH.
I haven't figured out how yet, but I sure it's Democrats causing it.

Seriously. One of our license pates specifically says "Greatest Snow on Earth", you'd think people would remember what the stuff looks like and does to roads. But the first snowfall of every year will rack up 200-300 accidents down in the city, and they aren't all 16 year olds.
I remember driving down 95 to get my boys in the middle of a snow storm. People made it a 5 lane highway. Took 4 hours to go 10 miles so everyone could clog the exit ramp and get off the highway. I spent the rest of the trip south and back north with nothing but big rigs on the road with me. Had to have seen at least 100 vehicles wrecked out all over the place.
Crap drivers in every state after the first snow fall. We spend more time in the snow then not and you would figure that would help. But nope they are just as dumb here.
It rains forever here and it makes for the most well behaved drivers in the country. I've driven absolutely everywhere more than once. That's my cred. But in the summer it stops raining for several months straight. And these people forget how to do it. Wrecks galore for several weeks. Here if it snows...you know those little white things that float in the sky, everything stops. If you are from the Midwest and you trek to work, you'll be the only one there. A quarter inch and everything stops and people die. Hell an eighth will close school. They are terrified of it.
I remember it was like that when I was living in Arkansas. Three salt trucks in the entire State. They put down sand at intersections. What a joke. Yes, people did have horrific accidents. I drove through it all and laugh to everyone.
gotta love those afraid of the snow. Spent sometime at FT Lost in the woods and That place shut down. Southern drivers were scary to be around with snow and ice. Northern Boys ended up being Post drivers I was driving the one of the Post buses a few times or the cattle trucks. Anyone remember those.
The coast of NC shuts down for snow in the forecast. Nothing but brodozers and soccer mom vans lining the ditches. A lot of people in CO can't drive in the snow either. Boggles my mind.
I learned how to drive in the lake effect snow around Buffalo so when it snows around here I'm happy because now I can make shoveling the driveway a punishment threat for one of my kids. I sold the snowblower when we moved, so they have to shovel out all 3 driveways by hand. Very effective.
Snowblowers are a must have item here. Its that or you hire someone to clear your driveway. Shoveling only makes it so far. I clean a few of my neighbors driveways and sidewalks. But when the deep stuff hits one neighbor brings out his plow and another brings in his bobcat from his farm they then do the whole block or 2 after the city does the street.
I bought a plow blade for the riding mower. We don't see much snow down here. Everybody on the Front Rage gets hammered and there isn't much left by the time it gets to us.
You wouldn't like snow if you were forced to deal with as part of life, like trapped forever in snow country. I hate it with a passion. It's 100% anti-car. Everything about it tears a car up. The only "fun" I ever had was jumping my mom's Pinto over a snow drift. I can't remember what broke, but the car new, and I was busted. So snow was bad again.
We have an average snow of 30 inches/year. In 2015 we broke the record snowfall with a total of 60+". Not sure of the prediction for this winter. The only thing I don't like about snow is having to pay someone to clear our driveway. I quit doing it. That's how I got my second heart attack.
