So it looks like they started with a real gun in 9mm then had to cut the hell out of that slide to get it to cycle with a .22lr
Same page shows a 9mm that looks pretty similar.
eh looks neat i wish hipoint would add some style to their guns they already have heavy slides why not make a gun that looks like a desert eagle they could take some lessons from ati and their mp40 heck why not make a space age looking gun how much does a zinc mold cost to make?
$2.17 per slide with the highest tolerance, smoothest surface, most complex geometry, 6x2x2 envelope with 75% fill, using ZA-8, since they didn't have 3 and I didn't want to play with the slides.
It's the X trim from Grand Power. I dig it personally. I handled a Grand Power Excalibur when it first came out. Really nice. I'd buy a GP. Well made and stylish as well.
oh man i think i got it just make a pistol that uses the hi point carbine slide and have polymer shells that attach to the via grip screws possibly a trigger group clamp and mount it to the back of the "frame"
maybe even an aliens (minus the buttstock we cant be having accidental sbr)
the trick is people are going to want more capacity so they need to rig up a frame that uses a common magazine
