Yesterday I checked out my Toro snowblower to make sure it would start if/when I actually need it. Put fresh gas in it, checked the oil and hit the electric start. Couple of cranks and ... "Bring the Thunder!" It started up just fine. Let it run a few minutes till the engine got hot, then shut it down. This morning I found fresh gas on the floor. It seems to be coming from the bottom of the brass cover on the carb. I checked - both of the 10mm bolts are tight, but it just keeps dripping. Neither of the bolts has ever had a washer, so now I'm buffaloed. This never happened before, even when the needle vale would plug with varnish and I had to strip it down. Lots of "cam heads" here, so any help would be appreciated. Hate to take it ot a small engine shop!
That's Inga, how soon we forget. She was the girl who rolled all your Swedish meatballs. Cast her aside like all the others didn't you? As the head sous chep she thought she was your fave.
With the snow out in Eastern TN? Don't worry about buying equipment. Have lots of firewood, food, and booze. It never stays long. It'll melt.
I have lived here almost all of my life. That being said, I prefer colder weather than the hot. The heat doesn't interest me at all. Plus as stated above, I like to hunt the 200+ lb. deer. The snow doesn't bother me at all. Oklahoma would be cool with me, lived there for a while and the winters were colder.
Carbs are cheap at Amazon, I don't even bother rebuilding them anymore.
