I'm probably with SW on this... I'd like a 1911-format pistol (either the Chiappa .22 or a 6-inch .45, double-stack preferably) just because I haven't met a gun I wouldn't own, but for carry I would chose a newer and simpler design - I did, actually, since I got my XD(M).
