This guy showed up at my backdoor last night, and with any luck I will get it out to the range tonight.

Some of the screws are a little buggered up from past owner, and at some point (not too long ago I think) someone used a homemade 1/3 mix on it. I can still smell the BLO, and had to clean some of the wax out of the nooks and crannys.

I am pretty excited about this one. It's an antique, it's a Finn, the bore looks amazing, and the stock is in great shape. If it has great character, and has been through 2 world wars... I just hope it shoots half as good as it looks.

You might wonder "Gee, how good could a 100 year old rifle really be?"

at 75yrds, with me flinching behind the trigger and using old surplus ammo, its this good...

There is no doubt in my mind that a competent shooter behind the trigger this rifle would make 1 hole.
