For some reason I can't find my chart of the different 22lr chamber measurements. Anyone have the info they could PM me or post it here?

I'm thinking I'll put up a post in the gunsmith section on the work I'm doing on my Rem 597 to tune it in.

On my 597, the weakest link is the trigger, it's terrible.

On my CZ and BRNO, which are pretty accurate, people say the barrel is slightly tighter near the muzzle. It feels that way when cleaning, but I haven't seen any real measurements.

Anyway, I'd check out a thread about accurizing a 597, I love the way the gun feels.

get the volquartsen hammer ajole, best thing ever! also throw in the extractor while you're at it.

I also am a huge fan of my 597, once i did the hammer and extractor, floated the barrel, it became a new gun. and is a tack driver. We play darts on the target dart boards and it's a blast!

    Yep, that's it Ajole! Thanks!

And to add to Rippinryno's comment, also add in a Tandemkross trigger spring kit. Do all three mods and it will transform your 597 before your very eyes.:)

    Marlin 795 for me!
New one, black poly, but it's sweeeeeeeeeeet!
outshoots my gun buddy's 10/22 stainless bull barrel man-licker with a red dot
regardless of who is shooting either gun!
I was making nickel sized groups mostly cuz I was moving around a but w/o
    much support
Works great with Promags 25 rounders,
loaded up and emptied 3 of them, but they hold 27 ;)

    597 or 795 :D

There are some GREAT shooters that are not Ruger 10/22's!

    :D
