No idea how this got posted under Pistol Data!

I have three different bullets that I am now able to tinker with. Hoping to find a reasonable 100 yard load with any/all three in my Marlin 336.

    1st - Sierra 125 gn HP/FN Pro Hunter

I have Trailboss, H335, H4350, Benchmark and numerous pistol powders at hand.

Just looking to see if any of you have used the same or similar components in any of your personal loads.

I load the 125 grain Sierra pushed out the barrel with RL7. It gives me top velocity and good accuracy.

My cast bullets for the 30 WCF are the Lee 113 grain "Soup Can" and the Lee 170 grain flat point.

The "Soup Can" pushed by Unique has been a good performer as a small game round. I am able to push the 170 grain bullets to maximum velocity, equal to jacketed bullets velocity, with 4198 powder. Adequate for deer and pigs.

These were originally used by the Cro-Magnum to kill the dreaded Neanderthal. Record kill was a wooly mammoth, but it took an eyeball shot. They killed dinosaurs with a Quigley Gun, until...

Cool stuff, GB. Dad has a dirty-dirty, M336. Like new, barely used.

Mine has a very low round count. I think the guy said 10.
