Need to break them in. Very normal. Keep them loaded when not in use and work the follower up and down once in awhile with a ruler or something. See if it's better in a week or two. If they're not better by then we'll be happy to teach you how to really screw with them.

Never had much trouble with the daughters 3895 carbine, as long as i slapped the spine of the magazine across the palm of my hand to align the cartridges before inserting the magazine. Same as with my CF380.

I do wish MOM would put spacers in the 380 magazines.

But there are a lot of Idiots on there too, making simple fixes very complicated...
Or doing them completely wrong, and passing BAD or DANGEROUS info along because they simply got lucky and haven't hurt themselves yet.

I think most are fixing problems that do not exist

Okay just got back from the range. I have one mag (9 2015) that came with my gun no issues, shot about 50 rounds through it a couple weeks ago. I purchase two additional magazines from Hi-Point both dated (1 2016). They are jamming twice per 10 rounds. I palm slapped them. Only shot about 60-70 rounds but wanted to through the new mags away. Is it simply keep them loaded and run 300 rounds through them? That is like $200 of ammo though each mag. I also got a Redball 9mm 20 round mag, shot 20 rounds through it with no issues.
Any other solutions? I will load them up and let them sit until I go again. Any thing else?

Without knowing what the failures actually were....Smooth the inside edge of the straight rear feed lips, as in polish them, not sand or grind them, and let them sit loaded as much as possible.

If that doesn’t do it, we can move on to bending things.
