Dumb question yall, but does the 4095 and 4595 share mags?
Put a 45 in a 40 mag and enjoy trying to get the round out! Lips are tighter on the 40, and the followers are different. For grins and giggles once upon a time I put a 40 mag with one round in the JHP. It picked it up, and it passed right through the barrel............. and out onto the floor.
I only ask because ive got a 4095 and a dozen 1911 mags. Wasnt sure if a 1911 mag catch could be put in a 4095 and use 1911 mags for .40 s&w
Gotcha! I like the way you think. Be a pioneer! Outside dimensions are identical!
So the 1911 mag WILL fit? Awesome. Now, how will a 40 s&w fit in a 45 acp mag?
It probably won't hold it in the lips

I am sure there is many .40 1911 mags out there http://www.midwayusa.com/s?userSearchQuery=.40+1911+mag
I definitely know there are .40 1911 mags but i was hoping that the .45s would work as thats also my carry gun so swap ammo but same mags. Carry gun is a commander 1911
Do you already have a 40 1911?
No he has a 9MM:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
i know from experience that some 45 1911 mags "will" hold a 40. I couldnt tell you which mags exactly. but i have had instances where a 40 got mixed into my pile of 45, was loaded into the mag, and even fired.
well i can say with certainty(because i own one) that a 9mm 1911 mag will NOT fit in the 9mm HPs
wanna see a shiny 40? http://www.smithandwessonforums.com...ng-please-apply-sunglasses-prior-viewing.html
I have a .45 1911. With .45 acp mags.
Best to just get the 1911 40 mags and use those, IMO.
The 45 ACP and 10mm Auto are basically the same length.
Think about that for a bit
If im gonna buy more mags i may as well get hipoint carbine mags. Lol
