I would like to try this using a hi point 40 barrel reamed for 400 corebon on a hi point 45 pistol. The pressures for the 400 corebon are less than the 40 and about 45 +p since hi points are rate for +p I think it's much safer than using a 40 to 10mm or 357 sig. I reload so 400 corebon is cheap and I've found ammo on line at 19.00 a box so I can squire brass I also understand I can use a 45 recoil spring I would think the 40 spring might be better, need option on that. Anyway does anyone know a gun Smith preferably in Texas but not only there who would ream a hi point 40 barrel to 400 corebon?
