So will this fit with either mag release conversion or modify the mag itself? nice to see a drum again in 45 since promag had quit making theirs.

  5. You guys always find the coolest stuff.I want one of these for my 4595 after someone else tests it on a HP first. :p

Be kinda awkward on a JHP wouldn't it? Maybe not.

    2 on the way!!! WOOT!

$121.13, insured, flat rate shipped. Not Bad!
Looks like the Korean Glock style, with a 1911 top.
I'd imagine it would work just fine for the 4095/JCP as well ;)

I think you'll like them Mole face. I'm going to run it in my 1911 and see how it goes. If they are worth it in might get more later when I build a carbine out of the 1911 frame.

I tried the promag in the 4595, but the angle of the top to drum was too extreme to fit all the way in. Hopefully this is different! Gotta love those Koreans! What will they bring next?

Has anyone done that with other 1911 magazines?

HP just uses a spacer for the shorter 40 S&W round,
and 1911's also have 40 S&W models available.

IDK if anyone has done exactly what you say, but it is feasible...

If that's the case, I'll probably be willing to spend the coin to have it taken care of by local Gunsmith, or my friend's machine shop whichever works better. Shooting 10 rounds in Carbine sucks, 1911 28 round magazine would be great solution.
