I just got a new 45 JHP the third and have Shoot Fifty rounds with it and i looked at the primer and the firing pin is not hitting dead center. Is this anything to worrier about i don`t know much about guns this is the first one i have ever owned i am shooting Rem usmc 230 grain round nose and my not shoot that anymore it has black the sides of my gun thanks to all who answer.

The firing pin floats a little and will not always hit dead center, nothing to be concerned about.

My JHP firing pins hit off center too. I just figured it was built in since the firing pin helps with ejection of the spent brass. I don't really know if that is the case though.
