Just got off the phone with the 45jcp plant. The 45 israted for 45+p+ and 45 super. Did not recommend a steady diet of it not said it can handle it as it comes from the factory . The carbine is same way. I asked about 460 rowland , and he said was theydo not make a barrelfor that round.

That’s a known thing, but cool to have factory confirmation.

We already had that from the 460 Rowland guy who took his ball and split after he got pissy and deleted all his content about the conversion process when he found out it became the property of HPFF as soon as he posted it.

Yes it is rated for 45+P. Did they say OK for 45 Super and a print email?

I've been playing with 45 Super for years now. My 45JHP's does handle Supers but I don't care for the bite as compared to my 1911's. The 4595TS does work great with 45 Super but the spring loaded butt plate has it's problems. It does absorb the recoil but also causes cheek bite.

Hodgdon does have 45 Super reloading data that is actually barely +P. Research the original designer of the 45 Super (Fernando Coelho) later known as the 450 SMC due to copyright jump by a leach.
