My left lip on my feed ramp (circled) is chipped, i'm not sure if it is such a big deal but it would be nice to know how it happened and if there are any dangers to it. I always get my panties in a knot over something like this

I've had my carbine since last early winter.
Fired the carbine just a week or so ago and it's working fine and dandy. No jams or anything, just a nice chamber full of powder and gunk after shooting, as the normal.

I've been using Remington 45 auto 230 grain

thanks :p

You created enough interest that I disassembled my 4595TS to check the feed ramp. I noticed some wear showing thinning of the ramp but no chipping. Looking in the area you describe, it seems as though chipping of that corner wouldn't pose much a problem. Maybe take a dremel or file and smooth it out.

Keep shooting. If it starts failing, smooth it out with a dremel and a polishing tip, or send it back to mom.

My guess is, it won't be an issue. But that is a guess.
