I went to one of my favorite indoor ranges last Thursday afternoon. One of the range officers turns out to be a CZ fan. He had never shot a 52 so I let him shoot mine. I think that he may be looking for one in the future.I was waiting for a table, at the crowded, Pa State run open and free range, and one of the dudes there who noticed I'm a southpaw, offered to let me use the other side of the double shooting table/seats. I graciously accepted his offer, and unlimbered my 7.62X25 CZ P-52, (I think that's the right number--)
Anyway soon as that bad boy gave out with it's first bellow of full boat S&B ammo, the poor dude fell off his seat, and figured out he'd made a BAD mistake, packed his crap. and LEFT! Whuffa, I cracked up! Guess he had to go change his pants!!! LOL

The ony reason why I ask is, I own a few Toka and a CZ52 in that cal and really like them. Everywhere I read that the XTPs in the Tok would be a "great man stopper" but no ones done any physical testing of the loads. I even reload the Toks with the 90 and 100 grain XTPs.No, but you're more then welcome to do one and share the results.

Lee has them. They are hard to find!

I'm in Alaska and its kinda cold for ballistics gel, right now. However, you've inspired me to try during the 15 minutes of "summer" that we have up here.
Thanks for the response, Email sent.Dane, the free ranges are in several counties in Penna., not more than 20 miles or so apart. As I think I mentioned, they now charge you a yearly $35. range permit fee, but some of the ranges are SUPER and even have covered shooting stations! Most have 100 yard, 50 yard, and 25 yard ranges, some have 200 yard ranges, and all the ones I've been to, (3) have seats and shooting benches. There are also no Range Officers breathing down your neck, and the rules are simple. They are open from sun up to sun down, 7 days a week.If you want more info, let me know, and I'll get you the PA Fish and Game website address, where you can get a map of all the ranges, with directions on how to get there, as well as the permit form which you can print out and send in. We live in PA for the summers,(Lakeville, near Hawley), and are in Florida right now, but I think I have all the details in my car and shooting bag.
Let me know,
Cheers,

Wouldn't happen to remember where you left that lying around, would ya?I recently came across a post on another forum which describes how to form 7.62x25 cases from .223 Remington cases.
I'll dig it out and make a post up one level in the reloading forum because it's not about a load recipe.
Peace favor your sword,
Kirk
