How can I tell if my SKS is 992r compliant?

Benny (runs Milsurpstuff) also might have the parts you need in order to make your SKS compliant, if it is not already.

What make is it? Russian requires 4 new US parts Yugo 5

Chinese are 4 parts as well ... as far as I know they never had a grenade launcher.

If leave it stock with the factory 10 rd fixed mag or if is a D model with the factory detachable then you are fine. If however you want to put it in a Tapco stock then you have to play the 922r game!

If so the Stock is 2 compliance parts and a Tapco detachable mag is 2 Compliance parts...

or if you want the stock mag then you can replace the gas piston and the bolt....

I put my russian in a Tapco with the Detachable mags more to save the original stock from the wear and tear of prone shooting and the like... I also use the Tapco 20rd mags so mine is set for 922r
