Anyone ever try to INCREASE the LOP on a 995 ATI ?
Guess I'm not used to shooting a carbine LOP. Seems like another inch or so would make it more comfortable for me.

Length of pull. i.e. he wants to extend the length of the buttstock.

You might want to take a look at one of those recoil pads that attach to the end of the stock. Those usually add an inch or two.

One thing you could do it take that ati stock off and throw it in the trash and get you a ts stock for it, but that is just my personal opinion, everyone has there own preference.

Not sure where you are going with your statement. The reason you are not getting a straight answer is because there really isn't a good bolt on or slip on option for the ATI stock due to the design of the buttstock.

Slip on like the limbsaver don't fit well and nobody makes a screw on to fit. You will just have to get creative and make your own. I'd try and find some thick sheet rubber, cut it to fit, and glue and screw if the LOP is really that bad.

I had to look up what y'all talking about.
So for the other visually impaired :

The ATI stock does not lend itself to lengthening very well.
The Classic or TS stock should be easier:

Or you could go and build something like this:

Here is it installed on a ATI stock.

By the way, better BUY IT NOW, they are no longer made and almost everyone is out of stock. The above link does not show them out of stock.

Nope, sorry, not falling into your childish little trap. You should realize, there is a life beyond trying to be the forum bully.

They have some of these at Cabela's. May take a drive down there this weekend. Will take the end piece along & try to get one that fits better than the one in the link.
Originally, I was thinking about using some 1" pieces of stainless tubing & some longer screws. Just wonder how stable that would be.

The link I posted is an ATI buttpad designed specifically for the 995 ATI stock, if that doesn't fit well enough for you, I'm not sure what else we can help you with.

What is up with all the people who just won't accept help lately around here?
If the link to the ATI specific stock pad isn't good enough for you, there's nothing we can do. Jeez.

If you look at the pic in the first link, the fit is not so good.

The one made for the ATI is much better.

I can tell you that the ATI buttpad adds no length..it only changes the look. It is a replacement, not an addition.

Hmmm...Looks like I'm at a dead end for now. Still gonna look at Cabela's if I make it down there.
