WOW
Mailed 3/10
recieved at factory 3/13
mailed back to me 3/31
I recieved 4/2
Only problem I had was a cracked stock.
they replaced the following:
Stock, Shroud cover, Rear, Slide, Firing pin, Firing pin spring, Sear pin, Sear pin spring, Trigger, Safety, Barrel, Main spring
I also sent both mags, They replaced both mag springs, and even mailed a extra mag back.
I asked for a price on the WEAVER style scope mount, for the one I lost.
They sent one back "FREE"
If the serial number wasn't the same, I'd think it was a whole new 995.
I'm happy, Baby is back.

Gotta love Hi Point. Makes me not want to trade my 4095. Hopefully I'll get one of their pistols sometime.

Their was a form from their web-site, I filled out, and printed.
The only box I had was to small, so I took my 995 apart to fit.
I removed all markings from the box, placed the form inside, with the 995.
wrote the name and address on the box.
Wrapped the box with plain wrapping paper, and addressed it.
went to UPS, and mailed it as "Machined Parts" with $200 insured.
NO prior authorization needed from company
Tracked shipping on my computer.
Day after they signed for it. I called the Factory to confirm.
Waited 14 days?
then called them again to check on status.
They informed me it was finished, and would ship the next day.

I keep hearing such good things about the service here, I just may have to send my 995 in for a deep cleaning, per HPs reccomendation. Not really sure it needs it, but it will be a few bucks to send it to the mothership, and more then twice that to have my local guy give it a good bath....
