The magazine should be able to be inserted without pushing the mag release button. You might want to send it in for a once over and for your trouble they will send you an additional mag as well to offset shipping costs.
995 clip question
I just picked up a 995 classic as I posted in another thread. I noticed the clip does not want to go in unless I press the release button. Is this normal? I may do what UPdownLoAD suggested and just send it in for a once over.

Now, some times...I have to push my button for the mag to go in. No biggie. :yes: 
I may have just not been pushing in enough. I have tried it several more times and it seems to be in working order. If not I will simply send it in.
You might want to check the left feed lip. (Front of mag facing you.) If it is out to far or bent out at the top it can catch on the Mag release. That was my problem.

What I have seen on mine is that I will put the magazine in and it will feel like its in, but it needs a extra push of about 1/4 inch to fully seat it.I may have just not been pushing in enough. I have tried it several more times and it seems to be in working order. If not I will simply send it in.
This was at about an inch out. It seems to be ok now. I will just have to see how it does. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
