Okay, So I love the accuracy of my 995, But I'd like a Red Dot, for pleasure. Ive realized I cannot shoot irons with my BOB on. Or with a gasmask. (incase of TEOTWAWKI) I figured there should be a way to mount a Reddot above or infront of the irons, without the rear sites removal. I think the most practical place to put a red dot like I described would be attached to the Heat Guard using a rail that puts it up above the Rear site without obstructing the view.
Has anyone attempted this before? Post a picture!

Bushman used to have a rail that ran the full length of the top of the carbine with the ATI stock on. I planned on getting one when I get a 995. I don't see it on his site now, so I don't if he quit making them or if he's just out of them at the moment. It is highly likely though that with that rail mounting BUIS and a red dot in between shouldn't be a problem.
