995 trigger

lube it a bit and shoot more. I like my bushman trigger a lot (4095). no difference IMO. You probly just need to break it in more. his trigger looks a ton better
there is probably a tutorial around somewhere about the trigger, or there used to be I think

The bushman trigger doesn't reduce the trigger pull, but it does take the left/right play out considerably.
Now, a fluff and buff on the internal (touching) pieces may be in order... be sure to put some "Valve Grinding" compound on the touching edges of the internals... that way, as you shoot it, it will be getting sweeter and sweeter.
Only 200 rounds through it? You need to shoot it more!

How difficult is the bushman trigger to install? Any special tools needed?

having the punch is the main thing. the allen needed to remove from stock... nothing to it. takes about 10-15 minutes start to finish

Try a little gun oil on the hinge pin. this helped mine, along with some other work inside.

I HAVE LOTS OF DEXTERITY PROBLEMS FRM A WRECK. THA TRIGGER PULL ON MY 40 CARBINE WAZ VERY HEAVY FER ME. I CALLED & EXPLAINED PROBLEM TO HI-POINT A TECH-REP TO SEE IF HE HAD ANY IDEAS. HE WAZ VERY POLITE & OFFERED TO INSTALL A LITER SEAR SPRING ON HIS DOLLAR. HE WAZ PRETTY SURE IT WOOD TAKE CARE OF IT. I TALKED HIM N2 MAILIN THA SPRING TO ME & I'D INSTALL IT. GOT IT WITHIN A WEEK. WAZNT BAD TO PUT IN, REFERENCE THA EXPLODED PIC THAT CAME WITH CARBINE. IT MADE A GREAT DIFFERENCE. ITS ALOT LITER, BREAKS CLEANER,& SMOOTHER. OPERATES AZ GOOD AZ THA REST OF THA RIFLE NOW. HOPE THIS WAZ OF SUM HELP.
