I bought a used 995TS 9mm carbine and want to get to know it works.

The firing and trigger mechanism seems simple and I see how it works, but there are two parts that I don’t know the purpose and what are the purpose.

I am hoping you experienced 995 carbine owners can educate me on the 995.

The owner’s manual has them named “Counter Weight” and the “Counter Weight Pivot Pin”.
This is the manual I’m looking at:

    Thanks

It's a safety system that keeps the sear from falling (weapon firing) when you drop it on the ground.
