I've found no accuracy difference between the two rounds. There are some ballistics charts floating around here and other places online, just use the search function here or google it. As to the price, target loads run 9.47 for 50 9mm to 12.47 for .40, so yeah there is a difference in per round price. Pistol rounds are not distance rounds, the drop on either round will be quite large over say a hundred yard shot, but in a SD situation it's a moot point...at least I hope, unless you are attacked by some space alien with incredibly long noodle arms.
