I know there was a thread with this same subject but it was old and did not answer the one question I had. I know the .40 has more power and the 9mm is cheaper ammo but one question I have is does one have better distance and accuracy than the other? I was told 9mm rounds have more velocity and doesn't that equal distance, I'm not sure that is fact though. I'm new to guns so forgive me if I am asking a stupid question. I kind of lean toward the 9mm just for the price and availability of ammo.
