Most calibers are now in stock, although .22s are still hard to find. One of the local Wallys had a big surprise yesterday. There were a few dozen 50-round boxes of Remington .22 Shorts available. I haven't seen .22 Shorts anywhere since last fall.

Aside from bolt actions and revolvers, what can you shoot them in?

Do they run in levers, or don't feed well?

My buddy just got a Henry Golden boy and he ran .22 shorts through it just fine.

Most all levers and pumps will handle shorts just fine. My brother-in law shoots a newer Remington Pump. We both use shorts for Squirrels. Many moons ago I had a Browning Auto that took s,l,or lr also.

My Marlin Model 25N will fire them quite handily but, are usually priced more expensively than the .22 LR it is designed to shoot.

Yeah pretty much everything has stabilized here other than rimfires. I can get most handgun and rifle calibers without issue now. Once the rimfire catches up I'll be a happy guy.

My dear old Dad has a Beretta "Minx" (not sure?) that shoots 22shorts.
Levers and some semi-autos handle them too. Stevens made a magazine fed 22 SLR!

ALL the 22Shorts I have were less than the comparable 22lr I have been buying in the last year.
I have a plastic Ammo Box that contains shorts, standard and subsonic 22's that I labeled for the
