There is a thread or 2 about modifications to the new magazines to make them work on the heel release old style. @adam01364 made it work with 9mm but he theorized that it "might work" with the battery pack mags in the larger calibers, iirc...

@kfields I've been able to mod the newer 9mm carbine magazines to work in the Stallard JS-9. I've never tried modding the JCP magazine to work on the Iberia. As TNT mentioned 3 months ago in his post, IberiaXtras may be able to set you up with one, although they appear to be OOS right now. Hi-Point Magazine 40 JC 8 round.
