, that got me wondering how your mosin's shoot at longer distances?

depends on the ammo, but at our first NC/SC shoot in August of '08, we measured a rock I was destroying with an M38 at around 346 yards, on a hillside with milsurp ammo and iron sights. No correction for windage or elevation. Never tried distance and accuracy eval's with any of my Mosin's, they were built to be fired in volley's and the carbines are notoriously worse than the 28inch and longer barreled versions.
