The JCP has some texture on the handle, but to me it feels smooth.

I ordered in November 2019 the FDE rubberized version (They call it Moss) and got a bit lazy and did not put it on right away. The wife tidied up, I could not find them looking high and low, so November 2020 I ordered again and this time selected the PRO version (Black only) as I have that on a XDS45 and G-33 and really like it.

Naturally after ordering I found the others and confirmed that it would have worked fine, But now with the PRO version on the way I held off. Well because of the Virus my wife keeps the mail on hold for three or four weeks and then in quarantine in the garage for another couple of weeks. I got them yesterday So as I can't see the pictures as I write the first one should show the JCP with both sets, the next two pics the JCP with the PRO installed and the last shows the JCP and a Taurus G2 so you can imagine my oriinal plan, Always styling. Anyway very happy with the feel.View media item 1973View media item 1975View media item 1977View media item 1971

Gun looks good, though. How much bulk does it add to the grip? I have small hands, which is the 4th reason I hate Glock

Small hands with Glocks = G48, G43, or G43X.

Remember, trash, that's the 4th reason. But thanks to you and OldOutlaw
I convinced @greg_r there is a Glock out there he likes. Gen4. He thought the trigger had been modified. Nope. The 5's are a little bit better.

I finally took my 43X out to the range. Kind of snappy. Bro has a Hogue grip on his.

I'm on the list for a bunch of Shield Arms 15rd conversion mags. It will probably be my main carry.

My 43x is a bit snappy also. The G42 in .380 is a real dream to shoot.

One of the few things that was good about the 43, was it was SO much nicer to shoot than the other thin light single stack 9 mm's of the day. Of course, when you cost nearly double, you better be better at something.

Hardly any. Imagine that thicker colored paper you did arts and crafts with at grade school, about that thick.
When I was in grade school, we didn't have paper. We wrote on rocks - using other rocks

Yep! @histed was a Cave Dog, here's a pic from back in time...

You are officially out of the will. You know I was high on Alpo when that was taken.
Not hard to accomplish if you used chalk on slate chalk boards.
Naw, Rach, we weren't that advanced. Sandstone slabs with granite...pencils? Never could use the "dawg ate my homework" excuse - for a couple of reasons. Really hard to write without thumbs, too.
