ok back to basics. Shooting at a 50 foot .22 indoor range today. Getting ready for small target competitions. My old remington 514 is pretty much on target but shooting about 1 inch right of bullseye. the rear sight is not windage adjustable, but the front sight is. which way do I move it to get my shot group to move left 1 inch?:)

What he said, front sight chases the holes, rear sight goes the way you want the hole to move.
