To do what, exactly? Personal protection, plinking, or New Years celebrations? When I first came here I had a cf380. Sold that during the divorce. I'm looking for advice on a new pistol.
Bro, he's got hi point money not TexMex money...To do what, exactly? Personal protection, plinking, or New Years celebrations?
I've got 2 PT111G2c's. One for sale if anyone is interested. Nice solid little 9mm striker. Not the best but certainly not the worst.I would pick a Taurus over a Hi-Point. Lighter, more compact, more capacity.
You know I feel the same way.I feel like I should own more handguns.
Define "here". You had a CF380 when you got here. The forum? The country? Are you a long time lurker, first time poster? Did I miss something in your intro thread? When I first came here I had a cf380. Sold that during the divorce. I'm looking for advice on a new pistol.
I have four (4). 22LR, .40, 10mm, and 45Colt. I know I need at least 4 more in 380acp, 9mm, .38/.357, and a 1911 in .45acp.You know I feel the same way.
Great call, the PSA Dagger is a bargain @ $300 - can even get a blem one with mags etc for that price with optics cut and threaded barrel when they have em, they sell out fast.OP, if you had to sell your CF380 because of a divorce, I'm guessing you have some budgetary issues. The CF380 isn't a small pistol, so something in the realm of a G19 would probably do well, size wise.
The Palmetto State Armory Dagger pistols are G19 clones and run $300, give or take, depending on the specific flavor and timing of the purchase. With that option, you would be able to run 9mm Ammo, which is cheaper than .380, and you would have something within the ballpark of your old CF380's physical dimensions.
The Dagger would work for anything from a simple range gun, home defense pistol, to a concealed carry piece.
If you are dead set on staying with a .380, the G42 is a solid option. It will be a bit pricier than the Dagger can cost, but not excessively so. It is a great shooter and much more pleasant to run than most typical .380s on the market.
If you can stand a little more snap, the Bersa line of .380s would be worthwhile for your consideration if you are set on that caliber.
That's all you have??? SLACKER!!!I have four (4). 22LR, .40, 10mm, and 45Colt. I know I need at least 4 more in 380acp, 9mm, .38/.357, and a 1911 in .45acp.

You have to move fast on those cheaper deals. I was worried I'd miss out on on that blem Galil Ace Gen 2, but it amazingly lasted for a few weeks after I got mine.I was going to get it and sold out. The pit falls of workin nights sleep all day.
Yes, I only have 4 and the 422 is non functioning. Needs a slide and a magazine. TNT offered to buy the grips...lolThat's all you have??? SLACKER!!!
I think I am good on Handguns, well on second thought, still need an FN, H&K and an Arsenal AF1...
I still need an FN and an H&K, too. I wouldn't mind throwing a Canik in there as well. I'm kind of in trouble for buying other accessories after I got a new rifle, though, so it's going to be a while before I can get any new toys. That's all you have??? SLACKER!!!
