I called the local Pawn Shop who is the HP dealer for my area and asked if they had a 45 in stock today. They said they got in 8 on the 21st and they sold the last one yesterday. They are expecting 8 to 10 more to come in Monday or Tuesday. I was looking for a friend who lives in another town, they sell for $149.95 here and $189.95 in his town 45 miles away.

I also think that because so many Hi Points move thru Pawn Shops, it hurts their reputation. But my Pawn Shop also carries Glock, S & W, Taurus, Ruger, Beretta, Ect. I'd bet they did sell 8 each of those models
between the 21st and the 30th !!

as you can see, the warning label has been affixed to the box, not the gun.
curious how some guns are on the handle while others are on the box. on a personal note...i cannot wait to get to the range!!

the sticker was on my handle of my gun.. i pealed it off and put it on the bottom of the box, i'd just have thrown it away but this was easier lol.

Seems like everyone is talking about the sticker locations:
Got the display gun, had the red sticker, no idea how long it was on "show" wasnt dirty...
I did however take a 97mile ride to the closest store that had one in VA and was listed as an official dealer. Didn't even debate on going down to the local pawn shops to get one.

The co-op dude didnt try to upsell me on anything; called in during the morning hours to hear what they have, rode down and looked at their displays, told the dude I was looking at HP and went from there.

I got mine at a gun show NIB. It had the orange sticker on the handle/grip as did all the other NIB HP's that dealer had. I thought nothing of it other than the fact that I felt secure that it acyually was really NIB and nothing on the gun showed me any different,Althought i do have to say that from the several times i have been to this gun show and several gun shops I cant recall seeing this sticker on other brands. If these labels are from the company I actually commend them for it just because it seems to me as a little extra step towards looking towards being a safe responsible company even if no one reads them. I just think Hi Point/Beemiller is a quality outfit no matter what people say.

i agree all that to be responsible of company, i just don't like the fact dealers leave the sticker on for displace. it make Hi Point look bad and unreliable.

I love the warnin sticker---

That way when some dumb butt shoots his own finger off with something like a Kimber, I can chuckle and say--"Wouldn't happen to an HP-er"..

When I puchased mine, they brought out the gun in the box, and the first thing he did when he opened the box was to peel the sticker off of the grip and place it on the inside box lid. there were no stickers on any display guns regardless of brands there.
