Hey Hi-Point fam, I just ordered a brand new belly band that I'm very excited about receiving and I was just curious if any of you fine individuals have used it or have experience with it? It's made by Alien Gear, constructed of neoprene and other strong sweat proof materials, has an accessory pouch and a place for you phone but I the best part of it all is that you use your actual Alien Gear shape shift holster with it. So instead of using the soft non conforming cloth material like most belly bands it uses a kydex holster. I Live in the blistering south and wear athletic cloths a lot, I'm excited to be able to carry my compact Sig now so I don't have to worry about getting mauled by a wild animal or dog or jumped by meth heads when I take my nightly jog or stroll. I'm down 20 pounds and running sub 17 minute 2 miles at 29 ;) anyway I hope everyone is enjoying their day and weekend and thanks for the input.

Can't help you. I never liked any version of it. And this one looks even more annoying.

Honestly when I'm down south I still wear big boy pants. Like a grown up. Lol. I know plenty of people wear loose shorts and crap. But I wear that working out or playing sports. Then I dont carry. Normal day its tru spec kaki pants and boots. I can carry multiple tools wink wink and my pants stay up. Ever watch cops? Who is usually getting their ass beat or hurt. Its the boy in shorts, flip flops and a wife beater. Lol

I wear shorts most days.
But I wear shorts that have a zipper, belt loops, 4 regular pockets, some sort of cargo pockets, and I can carry like a normal fat boy, IWB, OWB, or in one of 6 pockets.

Let's be honest though, that's the typically trouble maker outfit on cops lol I was a cop for a while so I saw my share of people like that. Typically they don't keep their shorts up or wear cloths that fit. Kind of hard to run or resist with shorts near your ankles. I'm just a lazy guy so unless I'm traveling, I'm in the house with athletic basketball shorts on. I just picked up this belly band to use around the neighborhood so I don't get attacked by an animal in the woods on a run or a walk. There's been reports of a mountain lion around here and we have tons of wild hogs, stray dogs and coyotes. Just thought it was a good piece of mind that would assist in a comfortable workout. I'm already punishing myself enough with these workouts guys lol

Just remember its gonna wrap around you and retain heat. Just cause I didn't like it doesn't mean you won't. What gun are you gonna carry. And you are more likely gonna be attacked by a 2 legged animal than any other.

This is the exact holster with the firearm. It's a Sig Pro 2022 9mm. There's not a lot of people around here, I'm in a village of 300 people. I'm still very watchful and always on guard. It's my standard across the board CCW that I carry regardless.

If you have large cats in your neighborhood, wearing a pair of googly eyes on your sweatband, hat looking to the rear can prevent you from being attacked by the animal.
